Welcome to Fort McMurray and thank you for being a part of the work to rebuild our region back to the great community it once was.

UDI Woodbuffalo is an organization that can assist you in conducting building/land development business in Fort McMurray.  We are holding our Quarterly meeting and AGM on June 20 and would be honoured to have you in attendance.  It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the benefits of becoming a member and to also network with other builders/developers in the area.

INVITES EVERYONE TO our LUNCH MEETING JUNE 20, 2017 AT 11:00 AM at the Quality Inn.
Soup and sandwiches are on us.
 
Several GUEST SPEAKERs  will attend the meeting, including Gord Bontje, Steve Bontje who are members from Red Deer, and the Executive Director, Tracey Hill when they will introduce us all to a very dramatic change in how we can chose to benefit from becoming new members in a nationally supported builder and developer organization...
 
The Canadian Home Builders Association represents 1600 builders and member across the province.  The merger with UDI-(us)  and the CHBA will give all builders, developers and associates (sub trades, suppliers, and realtors, lawyers and mortgagors) a new, stronger voice amongst the provincial bodies that govern our day to day operations...
·         new codes
·         access to technical data,
·         a strong voice at our Provincial government ministries.
·         Local support
Combined, the new organization will be a unified voice of over 2000 members when we collectively speak our words to those who influence our businesses and our community affairs.

This soon to be created NEW organization will be the voice of all local businesses that create our industry...speaking to the strengths of our industry and its economic importance to all of us?the second most influential industry, next oil.

Your local builder / Developer /trades and supplier organization will also hold a 15-20 minute Annual General Meeting to elect a new Board of directors and staff up the important Builder and Land Developer Committees--volunteer work to help us in our day to day issues on the ground with the RMWB; and provide an update to the current status of permits, and builds. 
 
It is but two hours in our busy day.  But two hours that will set the clear tone for the coming years
